Choose a side already!!!!
...I mean topping...!
I love my wife dearly, but when it comes to ordering or making pizza, I pull my hair out.
I will eat almost anything on one, up to and including anchovies. She only likes pepperoni and peppers. I like thick crust, and she likes thin- and this poses a problem...
When we go out to eat, it starts with me saying the following: "What do you want on it?"
"No, what do you want honey?"
"...What do you want?"
and it goes back and forth three or four times until she says she wants what she always wants...I guess that will never change even though we've talked about this before.
On saturday night, I made homemade pizza with 3/4 of it the way I like it and 1/4 the way she does- which isn't a problem, since I eat it cold the next day, and she will not.
Am I the only one that will eat just about anything on one?
I do like both tart and sweet pizza sauces too, but sweet sauces I'd prefer most of the time.
It's taken me a while to learn to make the crust though- it ain't like biscuits.

Load a thin crust with everything for me. But in your case why don't you order 2 smalls the way you want 'em?

Pizza in north Georgia
Zepplin's in Clayton is very good, and their fried cheesecake is fantastic. Mama G's is very good too.

When I am by myself, it's thin crust and double pepperoni. When I'm with my wife, it's whatever she wants. Like the song says, "That's the way love goes... babe!"

Vegetables do NOT belong on a pizza. That's just wrong.
And if the ingredients read like some organic market brochure, that's a no go as well.
I'm sure I will be disagreed with heartily by many, but pizza needs to have meat and cheese on it. End of story.

Sir,
I respectfully disagree with you heartily.
If you and I ever share a pizza, you can get your meat on your half, but my half will be loaded with tomatoes, mushrooms, 3 different kinds of peppers, onions, and whatever else the establishment sells that comes from a plant. Then we'll both be happy -maybe even take in a range session together.
Regards,
Andy

I don't care what you put on your pizza, as long as the pizza is round with a thin (but not crunchy) crust. You have to be able to fold the slice.....
Give this a try sometime.... rice pudding on cold pizza. Seriously, it's rather good.

Nothing wrong with veggies on pizza, so long as they're accompanied by lots of pepperoni, sausage, ham, etc. --- more ingredients = better pizza, to my taste. However, anchovies, I think, were created to be fed to persons in purgatory, leaving them pleading for ice-water and other relief, not for normal human consumption. I have the good fortune to live near a restaurant that offers, at modest price, an "individual" sized, 10" diameter thin crust pizza, with most of the things I think belong on a pizza, ten minutes from phoned in order to pickup time. It's not food I eat often, but it's tasty and handy.

Snowman, you just described a lot of pizzas I've ordered. Half meat lover's and half whatever was wanted by the person with whom I was dining. I can't even begin to describe what my little sister likes on a pizza. It sounds like a cooking show. You know how it takes people at Starbucks an entire paragraph to order a cup of coffee? That's what her pizza is like.
When I was married, my ex-wife's favorite was the Hawaiian. In the interests of marital bliss, I smiled and ate the pineapple.
Another thing. Why would anyone order thick crust? You get pizza for the toppings, not extra bread dough.
The range session will have to be prior to pizza. With a full tummy I'd keep wanting to take a nap.

Cheese, Mushrooms, Sausage & Pepperoni. Thick crust, like Italian bread, extra cheese and sauce. That is the way my wife and I always ordered a Pizza, right up to the point I was diagnosed borderline diabetic. Now it is just a distant memory.
Be safe, Frank.

There used to be a pizza place in Lansing, Il. called the "Polish Prince". Their specialty was sour kraut pizza. All the usual stuff plus sour kraut. When I had a young stomach I loved the stuff. After eating one of those and downing a 12 pack or aged and chilled MD 20/20, my then wife would make sleep in the yard. I'm kinda glad they're closed up. I had a frozen pizza last night smothered in those hot pepper flakes. I'm standing as I type. "Old stomachs never die they just perforate"

New York style, with pepperoni, sausage, and mushrooms. Of course, if the wife is choosing, it's usually a calzone with the same toppings (stuffings?) I will eat other kinds of pizza, but if I'm choosing, that's what I want. Oh, and neither fish nor fruit have any place on my pizza. Except tomatoes, which some claim is a fruit.

White pizza, with a side of buffalo wings. Real buffalo wings, like the ones from the Anchor Bar. Not the Hooters ****.

Yup, Mad Dog 20/20 needs to be aged about 30 minutes in the freezer to bring out its subtle nuances. Nothing says class (high school sophomore) like a fortified wine.

Put what you want on it but the crust should be thin and crispy. I would never order a crust that is named after the most corrupt city in the US!!!

PIZZA
Haven't had one in months. Extra cheese, mushrooms if they are fresh (not canned) and pepperoni. If the place only has canned mushrooms I'll go for onions.

BBQ isn't too bad. There was a local chain around here called Pizza Pete's (out of business long ago) had one they called the Porky Pig. Base sauce was BBQ, not tomato, and it had, as you might guess by the name, about every part of the pig on it. Canadian Bacon, Italian Pork Sausage, regular bacon, ham, you name it. It tasted great. I can feel my arteries hardening even now, just thinking about it.

Pizza is the perfect food. It includes ingredients from all the food groups, plus plenty of salt and grease for the maintenance of weight and blood pressure.
I like anchovies, but if I can get them on a Caesar salad, then we don't have to put them on the pizza. You can leave off the regular green peppers, but go ahead, load it up with jalapenos, banana peppers, whatever else you have.

Crust should be thin and crispy. No pineapple, no barbque sauce no chicken, no shrimp ( I likes my shrimps-they just don't belong on a pizza) -other than that pretty much anything goes.

So, I guess you don't eat crawdads on pizza either?
Haven't you ever heard of cajun pizza?
