I`ve been looking for one just like that for years to go with my 36 2" nickel. But everytime I come across one I`m either broke or the seller is asking half again what one is worth.

Keep missing out on the 3" 36-1s. But I did finally pick up a gun that I`ve been saying I was going to get "someday" for 20 years.
Always put off a model 10 because "Those are common as dirt, I can pick one of those up anytime cheap."
Well, looks like the model 10s (at least the nice condition one) are starting to go up in price. So I bagged one off of gun broker friday. Probably be more than a week before I get it in hand, but from the pics it looks like a very nice one.
Model 10-5 in nickel with a 5" barrel.
Will post a couple of pics when I get it.

Here is the one I've ever owned, a 29-2. I ended up selling it to a guy who had to have it. I have to admit I'm not much of a fan of shiney guns, but if I ever saw a Schofield like Semperfi's I'd be searchin' the safe for trade stock!
Pardon the poor picture, it wasn't even with a cell phone...

A10,
That's not a Schofield, its a Uberti/Beretta "Laramie" in .45 Colt. But thanks for the nice comments.
Did you fly A10s?

So would the Uberti be a bit more available then? And I never flew, or was even in the military. I have talked with a bunch of A10 pilots and the west coast demostration team. They love their aircraft! What's not to love? It's a flying machine gun!

A10,
The only current source I know for the "Laramie" is from Taylor's Firearms, here's a link:
New Model No. 3 Frontier
The original Beretta version is no longer made but can occasionally be found on the online sites, do a search for "Laramie".
I worked lot of A10s as an ATC for 31 years. A great airplane.
Regards.

Have a pair of these, so I only need one pic, other one minus the display case. Camera brought out a scratchy surface that isn't apparent in real life. Sorry for the less than pro pic, Andrew. The flash went off and I was in a hurry, so here it is.

These nickle guns just want to make you dress up in a trenchcoat and a snap brim hat.....
And wait in a dark alley for bad guys.

I traded this 15-3 in on a beautiful Model 65-5 Ladysmith. By the way, I don't like prop rods.
