Photobucket Help...
It's pretty rare I am stymied by computers, but it still happens...
Photobucket has been pretty good and easy to use. But this one is getting me. My pics won't upload. They get to 94% and stop uploading. I can let the computer set overnight and it is still stuck at trying to upload at 94% completion. I went here and followed these steps:
Photobucket Help - How to fix (almost) anything on Photobucket.
I closed out Firefox, restarted the computer (Windows 7 with the OS, Java, Flash plug in, and everything else I can think of up to date) and it still does the exact same thing. I tried my Android phone's Photobucket app and it will error out during the upload. So I went to my Macbook Pro and went through the same thing. No worky.
What the devil am I doing wrong besides beating my head on the brick wall???

I know this isn't much help to you, but I just uploaded a pic to my account with no problem. It was a small file, around 95kb, but it went right in.

I was just able to get their "bulk uploader" to work. But the green button that open the flash based upload won't work for me. Going to try uninstalling it again, rebooting, and then reinstall it again.

I had the EXACT issue yesterday. I simply hit CANCEL and tried it this morning. Worked just fine today.

I use Photobucket and have had problems from time to time. For that reason, I never sign out, and have no problems in quite a time. I recently got a laptop for traveling use, and when trying to get into photobucket, it won't let me access my account. I am afraid to sign out because of the problems of the past. Anyone else have this problem?

If you are trying to upload high resolution (large files) try resizing them to medium or small and the upload. Goes much faster.
I have my camera set at mac resolution and trying to upload one of those even with very fast ISP service it's slow for one picture let alone two or three.
I use a Power Toy as I still run XP, do not think it works with 7
Cool add on, just a right click and done.

The only way I am getting it to work now a day later is to use the "Bulk Uploader". I wonder if a local server for them is down or something.

I did what they told me to do, sign out, then clear all my cookies. I went back in and signed in with both my desk top and lap top computers with access without any problems.

And suddenly today it's all working again. I guess these things just happen. If Skynet and the Terminator ever do take over the world, maybe we do still have a fighting chance...

I've had that happen to me when I try to upload 10 or more pics. I just hit "Cancel Upload" and the 94%,or whatever,do upload. Then,I go back and upload the remaining pics. Takes less time than jumping through all the hoops.
