For Iggy, a pair of K22s.
The Masterpiece shipped to Abercrombie & Fitch in December of '47 (one liner, small ejector knob) the Combat Masterpiece hasn't been lettered, but the serial number falls in '51 or so.
Both great shooters!

You figgered right. Those two rigs are finer than frog's hair.
Beautiful work. Thanks for sharing.
Also, thanks to all for your concern and support.
Had to go to the ER Thurs AM. Had a lot of blood seepage and what I thought was extreme swelling.
Therapist got all excited and sed git yer carcass to the ER, he was scared of clotting.
Ultrasound sed it's ugly in there but no clotting.
Seems blood thinner level was set too high. They told me to back off on the exercise for a couple of days and adjusted the coumadin level in my blood.
Doctor seemed to think that takin' them "rat poison" pills with Stump Blower was kinda like Russian Roulette.
Anyway, feelin' better and ready to git back on track next week.
Sure am enjoyin' the company and the fine firearms appearing in this thread.
Thanks again,
Chip

I don't have any pairs, per se. I DO, however, have two nice blued S&Ws that see holster duty on this old Chief.

Here's two pair, not a very good poker hand.
1. I like the little 22 cal Model 317s so much I have two of them. Can't get enough of shooting 'em. One's with lock, one without. I changed out the cylinder latch to the older kind which is much more comfortable. One has original grips, the other Speigels.
2. Two 45s; top is a Colt 1911, the bottom a Springfield Armory 1911. The Springfield has most of its parts marked "S", and has the proper magazine.

Hopefully I can get up and about enough to post something myself
