Default Modified Hogue grips

A while back after I made a comment of how I did not like the finger grooves in the Hogue grips on my Model 19 it was suggested that I remove them. I cant remember who it was that suggested it but I took the advice and did just that.
I have never been a fan of finger grooves I even ground the pistol grip down on my M4A3 a few years ago. It seemed that whenever it was necessary to acquire a fast combat grip on the firearm I would have to wiggle my fingers around to get them in the correct spot. It slowed things down. If you have time to get comfortable they are great, I just don't always have time.
Long story short my Model 19 work gun now has a much faster set of grips on it. Think I'll go out to the trap and shoot a few.
