My son works with a fellow that weighs in at over 300# and also dabbles at MMA stuff. Son has said on more than one occasion if (blank) goes blitxo the best thing you can do is put 5 OO Buck or 5 slugs into him, them go out in your truck and run over him a ½ dozen times.


FWIT I met (blank) at my sons work place and hopefully what my son said is enough to do the job.

Yeah, i call the cops and see if a stun gun has any effect on
"Roid Rage". It would be good entertainment. Whatever they
choose to do to/with the guy would be a hoot to sit back and watch.
I'm personally not gonna approach this dude.
Too old to get my *** kicked. Don't want the hassle of going to
court to verify whether or not the shooting was justified.

Sometimes the best one is between your ears. Working in hospitals for years with not a high ratio of men to women, the MANPOWER code would be paged, only we had no weapons & were not allowed to strike or use choke holds unless it was a VERY severe case. Chemical restraints/ towels/ sheets & training were what won the day. When most of the people involved only have a gown on to start with, you can imagine things got exposed pretty quick. YES they may be bigger and stronger, BUT not of sound mind and that is your big advantage. Some simple distraction can de-escalate a situation before it gets violent. FIRST however is your own situational awareness, DON'T get too close to a bad place. Keep your distance until you have enough back up to act. If alone & surprised, it pays to be smart & fast thinking. Something like "there you are, we've been waiting 20 minutes and your supposed to be at the house across the street (your least favorite neighbor). I've witnessed 2 Korean/Vietnam era nurses take down & hogtie some big GI's like they were on a rodeo circuit.

Buffalo Bore makes a .45-70 load with a 300 grain JHP bullet that generates about 4000 ft. lbs. of muzzle energy from a long barrel.

I'd use the 10 shot Marlin 1895 Cowboy for plenty of firepower.

Obviously this chap has preoccupation of size issues, What he could relate to is looking at the business end of an 8 3/8" Model 500, and being asked " Well do you feel lucky"? Of course that's after you called LE.The roid issues should then turn into suppository ones.

You have to remember that this incident took place in Commiefornia. With all of the gun laws they have in place, the citizens are so much more safer than those living in states where guns are much more available. Also the naked guy probably would have sued the couple for using excessive force even if they brandished a firearm!

The real story here should be what happens now? Odds are he will be put on a 72 hour hold and sprung. Probley wont go to court as they know he would be found innocent by reason of insanity.
Back in the late 60s I knew "Jerry". Jerry was a tech at Camerillo state hospital in california. He worked graveyard locked up with the Criminally insane. In essence as I understood it, he was there to give them their shots when they acted out. Sort of a guard or dorm nurse.
When Jerry Brown was Governor the first time is when the nation whent nuts. They came out with all kinds of PC changes that drove my pal Jerry to quit his job. He got in some trouble on the job before he quit. Jerrys biggest tool or weapon was knowing the choke hold. He told me he couldnt survive if he didnt use it often. Jerry spent every night in the dorm sitting with his back to the wall. He said it was unusual to go through a night or two without having to take down a "patient" to give them their shots. He said there was a guy like that, that had murdered his family with a ax. He told many entertaining storys of his job but had to quit. I dont know how his counterparts do that job now restricted with politics.
