Hollywood shooting . . .
Suspect Identified In Hollywood Shooting | Fox News
They're saying an off-duty officer on a movie set may have put the guy down. Is Sip still in-country or is he off to "The Long White Cloud" already?

These random shooting incidents are frightening, particularly because they can't be anticipated or strategically defended against. However acute your "situational awareness", and no matter how well skilled and well-armed you may be, there's little anyone might reasonably do to avoid being shot by a nut such as in this instance. It's a pity some perceptive motorist didn't mow him down with a self-propelled bludgeon, but who would, with no more input than a passing motorist could have had?
Earlier this evening I witnessed an apparent road rage altercation between two young men, one driving a "lifted" pickup truck, the other in what today passes for a "muscle car", with shouting, angry gesticulations, etc. I wondered whether this would devolve into a shooting incident. Not for long though --- when the light turned green, I left. Not my responsibility, no dog in the fight, no obligation to intercede, no "victim", etc.

I suspect you will be seeing more and more of these cases on the national stage as the November elections approaches. Media outlets ... too political to discuss.

I go there because when when people ask where I work out, I can say the Young Men's CHRISTIAN Association real loud to piss off the progressives....btw, my Y is very old school..lots of older folks, including a ton of character actors...none of the Hollywood tank top and glitter crowd...
"About Our Mission
The YMCA is non-profit charitable organization with a mission reflecting its rich heritage that reaches back to 1844 when the YMCA was founded. In the 1990s, to summarize the YMCA's fundamental purpose, the YMCA created the theme "We build strong kids, strong families, strong communities."
Values
All Hollywood Wilshire YMCA programs aim to help everyone
strengthen the Six Pillars of Character:
Trustworthiness
Respect
Responsibility
Fairness
Caring
Citizenship"
So there...don't mess with the Y!!!!
