Default Gingerbread...

OK. So the baking and decorating the gingerbread houses party was here today.

we don't exactly like to eat the gingerbread houses. Picking the candy off them is fine, but by new year's eve they are exceptionally brittle and gingerbread icky.

So for at least ten years now, we've been getting creative at blowing them up on NYE with fireworks.

The drought has us under an aerials ban...so I am not exactly sure how to do this without going back like our early stages and using many firecrackers and creative fuse work. I'm very sad we will not having flaming gingerbread falling from the sky this NYE. I think we have finally found all the melted and otherwise damaged little green army men from our display about4 years ago.

Any suggestions on my annual fireworks gingerbread destruction display this year? It's kind of a big thing on the block but I'm about out of ideas...

No, the houses are complete and decorated already. C4 is also hard to come by. For this project we only use traditional gingerbread-a theoretically edible substance, and only those items readily available in mass merchandisers and regular fireworks stands.

After New Years, I take the stale gingerbread house and put it out for the hogs. Once they eat it I blow them up with a 30-06.
