Default Weston County MS and the Constitution

That being Weston County Middle School, Newcastle WY.

Yesterday on Fox News "The Five" that young blond lady was telling a story where she visited the Weston County Middle School here in Newcastle a couple years ago.

The whole middle school got up and recieted word for word the Constitution of the United States. Also individualy, they recieted all the amendments, what they ment and when they were adopted.

Not to brag (yes I mean to brag) my granddaughter was one of those middle school girls. She and her classmates also can name all the presidents IN ORDER.

I'm big time proud of my GD, her little friends and the Weston County School district.

Not meaning to make this religious, but the Christmas programs don't leave out Christ, we have the nativity scene on the court house lawn and kids pray for the safety of participents in sporting events.

I love Wyoming. I love my little middle American town.

Nice to hear that stuff is still being taught. I'm sure you're glad she lives where she does.

I worked in Evanston in the summer of 1981 and lived in a mancamp( that's what they were called).I worked at a Chevron oil project.Beautiful area but I would not like to live there permanantly. No trees and when it snowed in July,I knew this SC boy could'nt take winter there. We went to Jackson Hole, very pretty area. The popular saying was "Wyoming.Where men are men and the sheep are scared".

Great post and I agree, Iggy "nailed" it.

I have yet to visit Wyoming, but when I do I intend to see a lot of it.

Wyoming is a beautiful state. Every place we went the people were super nice. If I ever decide to run away from home that is where I am going. Larry
