My nephew knows I'm a big fan of sambar stag grips so out of the blue he sent me these for my 1969 vintage Super Blackhawk .44. He knows their current value and the India situation concerning their harvesting importation. I've always considered my nephew more as a little brother. My sister died years ago and my dad has always treated him like a son. Here they are on the gun. I made this pic for my nephew to show color tone differences in this material between these and the ones on that Colt. Laying there are the sheep?-stag?- water buffalo?- or whatever grips that were on the gun. Now I have to find another SBH. Maybe even a newer one. I've bought guns before just to put cool grips on.
