870 Info
Does any one know of a site where I can purchase a white spacer for a 870 Wingmaster? Numrich is out of stock.
Also, is there a website as good as this one for 870s? There were a few videos online but not having any luck finding them . If so please share. Thanks for any help in advance!

Why dont you make your own?? You should be able to find some white thin plexiglass or other suitable material at a hobby store and just trace out your buttplate.

Have you asked Remington?
You can ask on the highroad.net, too, in the shotgun forum.

Why do you have to purchase via a website? You can easily purchase parts direct from Remington.

White spacer? The old time gunsmiths that I knew favored cutting a piece of white plastic from the side of a Clorox bottle. They just put it between the grip cap, butt plate, recoil pad or whatever and screwed everything up tight. Then they used a sharp razor blade to trim the plastic up just right. It looked great, it was cheap and nobody ever complained.

Well, Remington doesn't stock the spacer anymore and Numrich doesn't have them in stock ether. I looked at the plastic bottle solution but the bottle is about half as thick as the factory spacer. This shotgun is a BDL variant which as most of you older shooters know had the fancy checkering and better walnut with a much glossier finish and the white spacers on both the pistol grip and the buttstock.

How about a piece of guitar pick guard material?
If you want a piece I think I have some scrap.
It's laminated white/black/white and about an 8th of an inch thick.

if you have access to industrial supply magazines like mc master, MSC ,
look in there for their sheet pvc and cut it out of that I made a hand gun teardown jig board out of 1/2 in. thick and some 3/8 in thick solid round. i think they have various thicknesses though.

I made one out of the flat bottom of a plastic bucket. You can trace it out and then and cut it with a jigsaw.
