Default ATTN: PACKER fans

made the pilgrimage to Green Bay last week. took the tour of Lambeau Field. amazing place. would love to have one of the suites over the 50 yard line during those winter games. we got to run(hobble in my case) out the tunnel to the field. if you ever get the change to go you should take the tour and go thru the hall of fame too. I got to sit at Vince Lombardi's desk. they have his original office in the hall of fame. more pictures in second post. lee

A game at Lambeau is on my bucket list. There are a lot of Packer fans around here, which is just across the St. Croix River from Sconny. I root for the packers against anyone but the Vikings, and often find myself rooting only for them late in the season after the Vikings are out of it.

The Packers have an incomparable traditon, and being publicly owned, lack the typical jackass owner who uses the team to grease his ego.

brad, wasn't no leap there: took both my friends there to get me up there. LOL thank goodness it's not as high as the one on the field. lee

Every football fan should try to attend at least one Packer game even if you are not a Packer fan. It is an amazing experience

Was at Lambeau field several years ago in August. A magical place. I believe LSU is playing Wisconsin there sometime next year and I plan to be there!

My brother-in-law owns his alloted one share of stock in the team. I wouldn't mind having a share, but the price is a bit beyond my means right now, at least for that sort of thing. Also I believe people wait for quite some time to get a share.

My exfather-in-law had season tickets to the Packer games. Back in the late 1960's he gave them to me for one game. I don't recall much of the game but I remember it being about 15-20 below zero for the game and I froze my posterior off!

i'm about 5 miles from lambeau. every time i go to a game i think how ridiculous it is to have something like lambeau in a city the size of green bay. i read about bigger cities having "packer bars" where you can watch the game on TV. there are no bars in green bay that are anything other than "packer bars". a "bear bar", "viking bar" or a "cowboy bar" or any other teams bar just does not exist here.
