Attention hunters - Be careful out there!!!
Alright, I have to admit that I was wondering whether some of you folks were a little alarmists. Carrying guns for bear?! C,mon...until I read this:

Glad the hunter's ok. Not too many grizzly bears in the low country of SC but we do have the lizard man.
I guess a .357 should be enough.

One year while elk hunting I came pretty close to a bear, I wasn't that far from the truck so I broke and ran back, I did beat him to the truck, of course I had the advantage.....I was running on clean ground!!

Pretty safe here,no grizz and all of the black bears seem to have headed into Denver and the suburbs to fatten up for the winter (I'm serious!)

Black Bears are annoying the folks in Gated Communities (guess they did not pay the homeowner fees) So Florida has opened up Black Bear hunting for a few permits.
Of course the bears shot will not be the ones they still have to trap in the folks pools and BBQ's. Marshmallows and cookies are the choice bait.

While we have black bear all over Utah, I haven't seen any at my location. Of course, Old Ephraim was killed not too far from me...back in 1923.

The guy was looking for an elk and he failed to see 4 grizzlies...... hmmm......... and apparently misses on at 2 feet..........
I think someone might need to take hunter safety over again.
