So I have been carrying my PC 627 UDR lately and had been using the very awesome Ahrends tactical finger groove boot grips. They felt head and shoulders better than the eagle boots that shipped with the gun that only allowed two fingers on the grip with the pinky wrapping up around the bottom. I was extremely happy with them and there was very little I would change with regards to making them even more comfortable - possibly checkering would be all, and a little smoothing through the finger grooves as it is a bit more squared coming around those front corners....then over the weekend, I spied a pair of the Nill rhomlas textured 3 finger bootgrips on fleabay and couldn't pass up the deal. almost a hundred less than buying and waiting from Germany. Well they showed up today (bought on Friday - awesome quick ebay seller) and I just installed them on my gun here at my office.
All I can say is HOLY COW!!! Just when I thought the Ahrends were the ****e, these things take it to a whole new level of comfort. They fit the hand like the proverbial glove. The texture is just grippy enough to know its there and stabilize things a hair, and the amount of palm swell is literally perfect. Installed, you barely can even find or feel the seam at the finger grooves. Excellent design and craftsmanship as you are all aware and come to expect from Nill grips. The gravy ontop, they simply look bad-arse on this snubbie. *drools* LOL
I just wanted to gush a little about them as I am more than happy and feel great about my half price purchase.
