Default Don in S&W Customer Service

I recently purchased a 1066 and found someone had bent the sideplate assy. to the point that it would not function correctly. In an effort to fix it the part broke. Monday morning I called Don in S&W customer service and gave him the part number after a minute of anticipation he came back and asked for my address to ship the part. After that, I asked him the price and he said 'no charge, it's on the house'. The price of the part was only $6.45 so the price is not the issue. The fact that he would send it no charge says a lot about Don and Smith and Wesson as a company.
Hats off to a guy and a company that understands what customer service is supposed to be!

I believe I have spoken with Don. I called for some info on my Model 27 and we talked for about 10 minutes.

I just called S&W Customer Service about sending a gun back for repair and while I didn't catch the guy's name who I talked to, he was as friendly as a person could be.

He treated me like I was a long time friend or something...
