Default Dog fight!

Last night I was in bed when at 12:30 my little dog was all excited and barking at my security monitor. That woke me up and I looked at my monitor and saw a bunch of feral dogs fighting in my yard. I got up and put my pants and shoes on and stuck my PF9 in my waistband.

I came out of my room and my sis was up too and watching from the kitchen window. She saw the gun and asked if I'm going to shoot the dogs. I said hell no it's for me because I'm going outside. I stepped out and the dogs were ganging up on the smallest of the pack. Looks like about 7 of them altogether but anyway I yelled GIT! and they scattered.

It wasn't til this morning that I found the bed of wandering jew was trampled all over. I had to get a broom and shovel to clean up the mess.

Before you say call the animal control they've been here several times but apparently the dogs eluded them. I think this time bring the tranquilizer gun and get them. Hell bring the 22s.

Most Animal Control folks I've ever worked with were on call for emergencies, but I only saw them M-F, 8 to 4. 90% of the animal issues we needed them for happened in the middle of the night, and half the time they wouldn't answer the phone. Unless the animal was a direct threat to us or someone else, we usually just let them run off.

Exclamation

Don't leave your little dog outside, unattended.

He/she would make a good snack for a pack of feral dogs.

This is what I'm afraid of but he goes out to the fenced back yard and I'm keeping an eye on him.

Also my apologies for my creative spelling and the mod was kind enough to fix it. It won't happen again folks.

If I lived in the country, I think I would have taken a couple of them out. Who's gonna miss them?

Just imagine what they are doing to the native wildlife and potential for some child being mauled or killed. A pack of feral dogs is a tragedy waiting to happen.

Well, you know it's against the law to discharge a firearm in the city limits so it has to be the last resort or to protect myself.

Funny thing is they're cool with people walking and trots along even if they're walking their dogs. Let a strange dog show up and they'll attack. I guess it's the territorial thing.

I would think a pellet gun would be sufficient to get their attention and run them off without causing the police to come pick you up and carry you away. Who knows, maybe the owner would notice the pellet shot on the dog and keep it home fearing someone was trying to kill his precious animal. Probably not.
