Default Micro guns, macro prices, ??? performance ...

I've been researching micro guns and am finding some of the higher end offerings rather interesting. The Rohrbaughs and Bobergs are north of a grand, while the Seecamp LWS .380 is a bit south of that point. Obviously, these aren't throwaway cheapies ... The latest buzz is coming for the Heizer DoubleTap, although it differs from its competition in that it's only a two-shot. The Heizer pricing is more in line with the Seecamp. (I am awaiting delivery of a used Seecamp .32 to compliment my regular carry Centennials, so I'll soon have a more accurate perspective of what these little guns can/cannot do).

The Heizer is going to be interesting ... two shots classify it as basically a derringer, but its high tech construction puts it in another league of BUG. I'm VERY curious to see footage of it actually fired, to judge what the porting really does to compensate for muzzle flip and recoil.

I give a lot of credit to these companies as they are "boutique" operations targeting a very specific niche of the firearms market with what appear to be very high quality products.

Thoughts? Opinions? Saturday discussion points ... take it away.

The LWS .32 auto is a fine mouse gun, The best in MHO Hand tooled stainless.

The 380 is the same size and brutal to shoot.

I had Rohrbaugh R9 Stealth. Fine workmanship but the most expensive, unreliable piece of fine craftsmanship junk I ever owned. The mag would fall out, it stovepiped, it jammed, will not take +P ammo. Looked great though. Went back to the factory twice. Before it was gone. I must say that Mr Rohrbaugh was very nice and accommodating so the whole sour experiance was taken care of.

The Kahr PM9 and Berretta Nano (a bit bigger) are my choice's
