Years ago, I was barreling down a country highway in a Ford van, window down, arm resting on window. A covey of quail flushed, and I was watching them fly across in front of me when.......WHAPPP! Something hit me rather hard in the left temple. Knocked my shades half off as I felt something fall on my left arm. A quail slid off my arm and fell between the door and seat. I pulled over. Head hurt, little cut on my head, glasses bent, feathers floating around inside truck and stuck to head and face, quail's neck broken.
As far as I know, I'm the only man living that has ever killed a quail with a head butt.

Hence forth March 14th shall be officially known as "National Potato Chip Day" .

Saw this yesterday and posted it to my Facebook. I can't imagine how I neglected to post it here. I think the first one is my favorite.

There was Ripple in the late '60s, too, along with Annie Green Springs. Just slightly inferior to Wild Irish Rose.
