Default Anybody else doing "Rip:60" workout?

I'm 50 years old and have been a couch potatoe all my life. Decided to take control of my life and made some big changes this year. I just started week 3 of Rip:60 and I'm amazed how fast the body adapts and gets stronger. I would like to know if anyone has completed all 8 weeks? My wife is doing this also and we're lovin this program.

You are NEVER too old, no such thing. Here are pictures of me in my last Semi-Pro Competition and I was almost 50 years young. I finished #2 in the South East of the U.S. Unfortunely for me, a drunk driver ended my career in Powerlifting. Maybe with some help from above I can return again for some bench pressing competition, but never again to Squat or Deadlift. My hat is off to you sir!!!!!!!! NEVER say NEVER, and that's me on the left in the first picture. 26

I started going to the gym on a regular basis about 1 1/2 yrs ago & it is amazing what a bit of exercise can do for a soon to be 70 yr. old body. I usually do 1/2 hr. on the treadmill & 1/2 hr. with some kind of weights. My arm strength & stamina are much improved & my weight has declined a bit. I feel kinda guilty now when I miss a day.
I am starting to believe that exercise not only adds years to your life, but adds life to your years.

Awesome! I have a couple friends using P90X, It's similar to what I'm doing in many ways. I had a little set back over the weekend, started having pain and inflamation from an old rotator cuff injury. Took 2 days off from my work-out and doubled my dose of Product-B and Joint Support. Feeling great today and ready to get back on the program.

Great to hear you're so committed. Working-out and eating right can have a positive effect on so many areas of our lives. You are an inspiration my friend.

Sir, the rotator cuff or rotary cup, can be healed quite easily right at home. You will need nothing more than a 1 and 2 pound dumbell or even a can of soup when you first begin. You can do a google search for rotator cuff exercises and see what I mean. Heavy Benchpressing in competition creates havoc on this joint. In my Health Club I have seen, repaired and healed many many of such injuries. I sincerely hope you address the issue before it gets out of hand, and surgery becomes your only option. The physicians always make it sound like such a walk in the park, nothing to it, blah, blah, blah. Most of clients Ive seen that have had the surgery all concur, they wish they had not, and went the physical rehab route first. Boswelia is one of thee best natural remedies for such imflammation, you should try some. 26

I checked the ingredients and Boswellia is in the Joint Support Suppliment I'm taking now, along with several other botanicals. I've only been taking this for 2 weeks. Started using it for my knees. Not long ago, I couldn't walk throught the grocery store without knee pain, now I'm doing jumping jacks for 4 minutes straight.

Awesome story sir, thank you for sharing. I swear by it for a natural anti-inflamatory.

Are you taking Flax oil too? If not, you should, I could talk for hours regarding the benefits. Two things if you decide to try it. First dont waste your time with capsuls, a tablespoon each day will change your life!!
Secondly, don't cook with it ever, keep it refridgerated.

I have not tried flax oil but I do throw a spoonful of whole flax seed in the blender with my morning shake. Doing that mainly for the added fiber. Been reading about chia seeds lately and thinking of switching as chia seems to have more benefits then flax. Any thoughts on chia seeds?
