Standard Catalog 3rd Edition for Kindle?
Has anyone tried the Kindle version of the Standard Catalog of Smith & Wesson 3rd Edition? Seems like a Kindle version would be pretty neat to have when out shopping. How is the text and pictures? Easy enough to read and navigate?

I just downloaded a sample. I'm still learning on these things but on my '3G' model the photos are less than great. It maybe better on the 'Fire' model.

Thanks for the heads up!
It's great on the Kindle Fire. What a great way to waste time at work.

Thanks for the heads up. I got it downloaded on my older model kindle. As has already been observed, the pictures are not the best on the monochrome display. On my wife's Kindle Fire, however, the pictures display just fine. I will carry the monochrome display model with me at gun shows now and have the color version available when wife lets me borrow hers. I am even more anxious for the release of a color e-ink version now. My back will surely thank you this weekend at Tulsa. I can now keep my print copy at home, and save it from wear and tear from being carried at guns shows.

I wonder which format might work best on my i-Pad Air™? I'm trying to cut down on the weight I have to lug around in my travels too!

I have it on the Kindle Fire HD, and it is pretty good, but never as good as the "Book". Have you heard the "4th" is coming? Soon!

I've had it on iPad and iPhone. Great thing to have in your pocket for that moment you have a question.
