I got my 5906 back today from warranty service. Some of you may remember I was having problems reassembling the gun because the barrel cutout was worn. So I sent the gun in and waited. I opened my box today and expected that all they did was file out the cutout a little.


NOPE!!

The gave me a BRAND NEW barrel, a new recoil spring, and I believe a new extractor. They also gave me a 10 round magazine (although I'd rather have a 15 round magazine like my others, anyone wanna trade?). WOW! Those parts on their parts list are worth $120+. Smith and Wesson just made a lifetime customer. When I get the money for my dream .357, it'll say Smith and Wesson on the barrel. And when I get my first piece of Tupperware, sure as HELL it'll say Smith and Wesson on it.
