What Caliber Is This????
Can you identify the caliber of this??
On the left we have a 45ACP. In the middle we have a 50AE. But what's that on the right????
I know what it is but I ain't tellin yet. Let's see how good you are. I'll post the answer later.

That's the next caliber S&W is going to put in their Scandium Airlight revolvers. Should weigh about 12 Oz.

30 mm Short with a 2,560 grain cast lead pumpkin. What the A-10 Warthog would be if it was a handgun.

Good stuff. I used to like Perma Frost for sipping in the winter. Went to get a bottle last year and the stores here told me it's not made anymore. I guess I should have stocked up on a few bottles when the gettin' was good.

Ok, I'll let the cat out of the bag.
The case is machined aluminum. Even has a brass "primer" on the bottom. The "bullet" is a piece of wood.
It was meant to be a shot glass.
This was made by a friend who is retired and has entirely way too much free time.

It sure does, which begs the question, how many rounds does it take before one is "fully loaded."

I swear it looks like a scaled up .45ACP, I would love to have one... whatever it is.

Looks like it might be a viable candidate for pest control, wonder if muzzle flash would be a problem?

Only in the 2" barrel. I've got a set of those my wife's uncle brought back from WWII. Made out of .50 cal brass I believe.

If used for it's intended purpose the muzzle "blast" could indeed
be a problem, especially indoors, unless, of course, the room
happens to have a porcelain throne located in it......
