Thank you Mr. Ross for being in this fight for our 2A rights. You appear well spoken and level headed, not the raving "gun nut" the other side portrays gun owners as being. Again, thank you!

John... thank you for taking the time to participate in that venue. You did a very good job in what could have been a very antagonistic situation. Kudos to you!

Blessings,
Hog

I thoughly enjoyed watching the entire interview/debate, I felt you held your own extrememly well and represented the majority of gun owners feelings. Thank you! Maybe some day
those folks will realize we don't have horns.

Mr. Ross, you represented gun owners very well, and showed admirable restraint, given that the host was apparently unwilling to moderate the discussion and permitted the rude Democrat to interrupt you, let stand his fallacious assertions, etc. Nice job!

John;
Let me add my accolades to your preformance on this T.V.Broadcast.
I watched all of it,and feel you did us all proud. Don`t get me wrong; I love Ted Nugent,(There is a big part of him in me) But felt very good about the way you came off in this debate. I felt it could even have swayed some of the other panel members.(But we all know they would never admit it) At any rate, "Keep on keeping on ".
Like Red Green always says "Remember I`m Pulling for you- were all in this together".

Bill

Thanks for putting up the link, John. People need to hear the "common sense" side of gun issues. I laugh at the saying "Guns cause crime like flies cause garbage." but this is exactly what people need to understand. I thought the point you made about the bus law elegantly simple as the CCW was not in effect at that time. There are still laws on the books about spitting on sidewalks in some cities and/or states. It is not polite to downright nasty, but there does not need to be a "law" about it. Thanks, by the way, for your work (Unintended Consequences). I own it and thoroughly enjoyed it. I tell others about it but I will NOT loan it out. I'm a .45 Colt shooter and like your writing on the subject of big bores too. Stay the course, John. Regards, Sprefix

I'll add my accolades for the way you handled yourself, I would have been a lot more confrontational with the Democrat who used numerous lies and misstatements of fact to try to appeal to the emotions of the viewers. Mr. Jayco made several points about the fact that CCW holders are NOT the problem, and you touched on that as well. The fact is, the Second Amendment does not establish the right to Keep and Bear Arms, it recognizes 2A as a basic human right, using whatever means are necessary, be it baseball bat, crowbar, or 12 gauge. I wish Chicago's idiotic laws (and horrendous death toll) had been brought into the discussion, Mr. Jayco said at one point that the CCW holders essentially had no effect on crime stats, which is false.......we DO stop crimes from happening, more often with no shots fired. I have survived four separate incidents where having a gun kept me from being a victim, and no shots were ever fired..........simply having a gun, and displaying it to Mr Miscreant changed the outcome.

More guns.........less crime. Its a Democratic nightmare, because the facts don't lie. Most politicians DO, to forward their warped, misguided agenda.

As I'm fond of saying, every Liberal is one mugging away from enlightenment.

On the other hand, there are a lot of Democrats who own guns.........which only confuses me.

Did I mentioned that I finally broke down and shot my 36-1 3" this week? My tiny little girlfriend likes it too.........I wish her birthday was coming up soon! Maybe for Mother's Day.

Hi John,
Jaco and Wahby. That took some nerve to speak on a show with those two.
Thanks a million for your effort and a job well done.

John, I think you did well. The individual to your right "just doesn't get it" as my nephew would say.

Good job.. I watched all of them.. I couldn't believe the democrat
next to you had the gall to say that the shooter in AZ was using
an automatic weapon, and spraying hundreds of rounds.. :/

They never can explain how taking away the rights of the law abiding
gun owners who seldom commit the crimes, makes the non gun owners
safer.
Even moderator guy seemed to get that part.. Any fool knows that
a crook can always get a gun, no matter what laws are on the books.
If they can't buy a used one off the street, they will just steal one.
And as I recall, most states that have concealed carry, not only saw
no increase in crime as one said, many crimes actually showed a drop in
numbers.

What more can be said that has not already been mentioned by my fellow board members? John has done us well and a great service.

As a Canadian, and having lived through the nightmare of gun control courtesy of a socialist government, I can assure you that whatever issues and problems there are now, multiply that by a 1000 fold and you will have a sense of what is to come when regristration and classification make honest citizens paper felons.

We have thrown off the shackles of long gun registration, but the problems and pitfalls of licensing remain. They are far more evil. We have over 360,000 gun owners that have not renewed their "POL" which stands for Possesion Only License". It means they have a gun, plan not to buy another but have demonstrated they are not criminals.

Presently the gun police are going to such people in the city of Toronto and threatening a warrantless search, or the surrendering of the firearm without compensation to those they suspect of having a firearm. The firearm is then destroyed.

So the short and long of this 17 year political war is do not compromise an inch. We tried that and reasonableness got further down into the mess.

You can never be too hard core about freedom and your rights. So do not budge an inch. Do not surrender or conceed a point.

If they show your their belly, give them your knife.

This is a never ending battle. You will not win quick victory. But the absence of vigilence will cause a slipage on the the slope to slavery.
