Gun du Grail
Just when I thought I would never get my grail gun.
Sure, it needs to have the stock refinished because a large chunk of lacquer came off, but so what.
(Who can name it first?)
(Who can guess the year?)

Winchester 25 riot?
Possibly a Remington 31 Riot? I'll guess 1940...I've got to be close.
Er...maybe not. I can't tell from the photo- a bit blurry, likely on purpose.
Kinda looks like a Mossberg action, but can't tell.

Remington 31 Riot is correct.
1934
Not a Mossberg Action:

I have no idea what you are talking about.
Ouch. It hurts when your nose grows out like that.

Lets see....three 870's, three Winchester's, three Ithaca's, Stevens 20 ga. 20" double barrel and a High Standard marked "BILOXI P.D. #9". Most of them are P.D. marked. I wasn't looking for them. I just ran across them for good prices. When you look for them they aren't there. I'm still not looking for them but I'll buy them when they pop up, especially if they are U.S. or police marked. A few years ago I saw 30 unissued High Standards with with consecutive serial numbers sell at an auction. They wound up selling in lots of ten for around $100.00 each. I couldn't bid on them or I probably would have bought all of them.

Giving classic firearms a new home is very politically correct. It's my way of saving the planet one old gun at a time.
