Back in March markush offered a holster karma with the understanding that the winner would try it out and give feedback. I was the winner and chose a holster for a 2" J-frame, the holster is VERY well made and it carries my j-frames very well. However I have given all the practical feedback I can give and believe it's time to pass the holster on so someone else can offer markush constructive criticism.

So here are the conditions: Winner must be in the United States. You have to actually plan on wearing the holster with a S&W J frame you presently own. You have to agree to give markush helpful feedback. When and if you feel you've given all the feedback to markush you reasonably can you will pass the holster on to a new tester.

We've occasionally talked about being custodians of firearms rather than owners and I suspect most of us have firearms older than ourselves. Good holsters are the same way, I know I have holsters older than me and I'm in my mid 50's. I'll draw a name on my birthday, May 7th.

Count me in.
This one does a lot of snoozing in the safe these days for lack of a proper holster:

Also agreed... Please put Ol' DeadAye in too --- Thanks!

I have a M36 that's my daily carry. Unfortunately my current holster sucks. Yours looks like a perfect solution; please count me in! And Happy Birthday :)

I just happen upon this by chance and have to say, Thanks to Walnutred for doing something like this!

I need to mention that this holster was molded around a "pre-magnum" J-frame so it would specifically fit walnutred's 70's vintage model 37. The newer "magnum" framed J revolvers have a longer cylinder. So just be aware that it might not be a perfect fit with your newer revolver.

That being said I will truly appreciate any feedback the winner can give me! Somewhere along the line I would also love to get a couple of pics of the holster just to see how it's holding up.

Here's a couple pics I took just before shipping it off to walnutred, my '69 M37 is in it.

I've just started carrying my 1975 Model 36 (birth year gun) that would look great in that. I'd love to provide input.

Thanks,
Doug

I was initially reluctant to throw my name in the hat, since I love good leather and hate to let it go! However, I have decided that, for the better good, I can comply with the re-karma wishes, so please put me in!

This is a GOOD piece of leather and it will be with more than a little reluctance that I let it go. However I feel that passing it along for others to test is more in the spirit that it was originally given that keeping it for myself.
