Default School bus shot up in my hometown

It seems that the "line" that can be crossed keeps being put back farther. Two girls shot by thugs while riding the school bus home. They walked right up to it and opened fire.

How can these psycho-thugs justify their actions?

News flash:
Wife just told they caught the shooters.

May they get their just punishment!

Strange that all the schools served by that bus are around the Springfield area and the shooting was way out on Westside. OK, I just read one suspects may have been someone who rode the bus in the past.

My wife used to work with the after school program for at risk kids at Arlington Middle. She said it was a dangerous place plus they had 17 year old boys in the seventh and eighth grades there.

I've said for years they needed to set up a gallows in Hemming Park in downtown JAX.

Firing squad. All interested parties put their names in a hat and have a drawing to see who gets to shoot.

Makes no difference who or what they are, gangbangers or terrorist. They should have never been taken alive!

17 y/o's in the seventh grade?!!! Kind of tell everyone who they are. Those poor misunderstood urban yutes.

Hope everyone on the bus is OK.

They will die of old age in prison before any death penalty will be carried out.

A while ago I heard of a fellow in Pakistan who killed another person on Fri. Trial was held on Sat. and he was executed on Sun. Talk about swift justice!

Maybe "due process" needs to be a choice: 30 days in the electric chair, or 10 days at the end of a rope.

That's fine as long as I get to decide, but with other people making life and death decisions - we better keep the present rules.

Default Due process...

People need to stop thinking that due process is not carrying out executions but that anybody that's been through their appeals are 'due' for sentence to be carried out.

Just think for a minute the money that could be raised to offset taxes.

A national 50 state lottery. One game could be called "drip drip". Another "swingin in the breeze"

Winners get flown to the next one on the schedule, stay overnight 1st class and get to push the button or yank the lever.

Due process can be an art form.
If you have a few hours to burn, dig into the Niko Jenkins saga via the Internet.
Found guilty in a capital case, and I am not sure he's been formally sentenced yet with the ongoing chess game between him and the judge.
