Default Tritium Sights

i want to get a set of tritium sights, adjustable for elevation and windage, installed on my 45. Can anyone recommend a good gunsmith for this?

Any local 'smith that can install sights could install adjustable. It's a pretty simple operation but to do it correctly takes the correct tool and probably some fitting.

Here are sights...

Depends on the sights, some require milling on the slide if it's not already profiled for them.
If you have a staked front, it'll have to be dovetailed, and some rear sights need steps milled to fit right.
If you were here in AZ I could do it, or recommend a few other Smiths with the tools and knowledge.

I have installed sights on a couple of handguns. Most come a little too large to fit so you have to file the dovetail on the sight to make it fit the gun. I like Dawson Precision because it comes with a tool to tap the sights in. They charge $35 per sight to install If you are not comfortable installing them yourself. He has videos on his website showing how to do it.

I just checked and he does not have adjustable sights. The videos are still useful.

I also changed a front sight on my 624 and you have to drill a hole for the pin. I recommend that you get extra drill bits and pins before starting this.

Any decent local gunsmith can do it and probably has the correct tools for the job.
