Spurs
I don't own a horse and its been years since I was on one, but to me there is nothing like having a pair of cowboy boots with a pair of nice jingly spurs, especially on a hardwood floor. Anyone have some really nice spurs or know where I can get some good ones that will last, and are nice and make a lot of noise while I'm walking?

Maybe try your local "adult novelty" store?

You want something with a large rowl. A cheap set will tear up a nice set of boots, so it pays to look a set over well and try them on the boot to make sure they don't scratch them up.
I have several sets, but they are cheap. I use them on rough horses and mules, and wear them on working boots that get stepped on, kicked, pooped on, and generally abused, so I am not worried about some more scuffs and scratches.
A good western wear store normally stocks spurs. If Montana Silversmiths sells spurs, they would probably be something you would like.
You can also add jingle bobs (I think that is the right name) to the rowls for more noise.
Pics if you get some!

David, No horse here either. Bought these E Garcia spurs on FlEbay long ago and I think I paid $450.00. They are collectable and look real good with my Colt.

Well David,
I'm sad to say, my silver spurs are rusty now...But, I fondly recall the
ringin' song of those temper'd rowels out on the trail or while strollin' down the boardwalk.
Su Amigo,
Dave
