Default Annie Oakley auction yesterday

I thought some of you might be interested in this. She was born and grew up not far south of here, which is what probably interests me more than anything. The second link below has a photograph of her Parker Bros. shotgun, which brought over $143,000. She was only 5' tall, so I would think the stocks on her guns would have had to have been shortened, but then what do I know?

Hard to believe anyone can shoot like she did(hitting dimes tossed in the air?), but I'll take the historians' word for it.
