Prayer request.
Dear s&w forum, 2006 at the age of 21 i was diagnosed with epilepsy which is a seizure disorder. and yesterday thursday august 23, 2012 i suffered my
6th seizure. please pray for me and my family sincerely and respectfully mg357 a proud member of the s&w forum.

I have had several close friends with the disorder, but I cannot understand what you must be going through. My prayers for your strength and healing and for the strength of your family. Keep the faith, miracles happen!

Prayers DO help. There have been studies: group "A" with prayers, patients recovered and did better. Group "B" no noticeable change.
I'll remember you in my prayers. Also important you ask your Lord/God for help. Believe you are stronger than any challenge.

Prayers and concerned thoughts headed your way. Seizure disorders are a bear to deal with, but with proper meds and care can be managed successfully. Stay strong and don't doubt. You have friends you have never met who are pulling for you.

Prayers for you mg357. I have know several epilleptics, who have had long, productive, and successful lives. Stay strong, in the big picture of things, this should just be a minor inconvenience. Good luck.

Grand Mal or Petite seizures?
I know exactly what you are going through, having been diagnosed with epilepsy in 1961. Usually this is controllable with the proper meds, mine has been. While it is discouraging at times, most of us lead very normal lives. Holler at me if you need to vent.
Napolean Bonaparte had seizures, we are in good company.

You are in my thoughts and prayers.
My older daughter was diagnosed with Epilepsy at the age of 8.
She is now 31, and her seizures are under control with medication.
It might take a few tries at different medicines to find the one that works best for you.
I would suggest a good neurologist who specializes in that field.
