Default Additional Oklahoma Veterans Benefits

I should have posted this information along with the drivers licenses info. Better late than never.

An Oklahoma disabled veteran who is rated at 100% service connected is entitled to:
Exemption from Oklahoma sales tax, City, County & State.
Exemption from excise auto sales tax every three years. Two vehicles.
Exemption from private homeowner property tax. No dollar limit.

Lifetime Hunting & Fishing License with a 50% service connected disability. This may have been lowered.

Two vehicle tags per year at much reduced rate for service connected disabled veterans. The disability rating has changed recently (Lower) & I'm not up to speed on this.

A lot of independent merchants offer various special benefits

Wow. That's purty sweet right there.

Our local "pay to play" fishin' hole gives an active/retired military discount. Couple years ago I went to get my permit. They looked at my ID & said "You know, you qualify for the Senior discount!" The Senior discount is more but somehow I wasn't too thrilled.
