Default 25th Anniversary

Yep, a quarter century married to the same gal. How she put up with me I have no clue. But here's the question:
What the devil do I get her for a gift? I need some help here.

Congratulations! My 25th will be this June. We have been taking trips for our anniverseries lately. For our 20th we went to Hawaii and for our 25th, we are going to the Galapagos Islands.

Galapagos trip is good idea, but we spent seven years on the Great Barrier Reef in the '90s.... Maybe I'll buy her a model 29.....

Normally the 25th is silver, but why be normal. The wife got a new necklass and I got (myself) a nice stainless varmint rifle. Oh the caribian cruse was OK, but the necklass and the rifle still do their magic. So you could say jewels and guns are the gifts that keep on giving. I also have a friend that gives antique furniture (and she loves it) although this year she bought herself some pretty nice shotguns- (Perrizi, Win 21 and a Boss) so maybe it's not a good idea to let her pick out her own gifts.

A nice silver 686 is always a great 25th anniversary present!
AND (even better) IF she doesn't like it you can put it to good use - Unlike, say, a necklace....

Depends on finances. Since silver is the color for the 25th anniversary, you could take her to Silver Strand Beach in County Donegal, Ireland and buy her a silver Claddagh ring (the hands on the Claddagh are for friendship, the heart for love and the crown for loyalty). If something less expensive is needed, take her to Silver Springs, Florida. Or just get the silver Claddagh ring. It's unusual enough that her friends will ooh and ahh over it.

Try to find one of the LONE RANGER'S "SILVER" BULLETS.

How 'bout a quarter??? Get one with your state on the back. The symbolism will take her breath away! Trust me on this one-I'm a professional.

Mrs. Pawncop received a silver Lincoln MKX three (3) years ago for our 25th anniversary. We have our 28th tomorrow. Went to one of the casinos across the state line and dinner at a steak house tonight.

Can't really think of anything else.

A few years back I bought my wife a low milage, mint 1994 25th Anniversary Trans Am convertible to celebrate our 25th.
Every years since I just default back to that purchase and get by with a card, some flowers and a nice dinner out.

Now yer talkin'...I bought her a silver grand marquis in '99. It's parked out behind the shed, next to the boat trailer, it ought to clean up o.k.

I'll tell you what NOT to buy her: a string trimmer. Bad move that I still hear about.
