Default Smith & Wesson Factory

I was going thru some pictures and found these and thought maybe some would like to see them. Here's a picture of the S&W factory taken out of my Suburban window while sitting at an intersection.

Here's one a little closer and directly in front of the factory. The building in the front is the guard shack at the main gate.

This was about a 1 1/2 years ago. The wife and I went on a factory tour also. You were not allowed to take a camera or phone inside the plant, so I couldn't get any more pictures.

That's interesting. I'd like a factory tour. I bet they don't allow personal firearms either.

Back in the 70's we would walk in the front door with guns to be dropped off for options such as target triggers, hammers, red ramps, etc. A well dressed gent in a suit welcomed us, accepted our gun requests and gave us a time to pick them up. I guess those days are gone.

Thanks for the photos. Me and my wife took the tour about 3 years ago, it was worth the trip.
