A Blonde, a BMW and a Loan
A blond goes to the bank and negotiates a 90 day loan for $3000. She leaves her new 7 series BMW as security for the loan. After a month she walks in and pays back the money with the $30.00 service fee. The banks assistant manager asks why she needed a loan when her cash assets were over a million bucks. Her reply "Where else can I get a month worth of secure parking for $30.00?"

A lawyer in my town parked his new BMW on the right side of our one-way Main Street. As he was getting out of the BMW, a passing car sideswiped it, tearing off the driver's door and the lawyer's left arm.
The lawyer, totally unaware he's been injured, is jumping up and down in the street when the police arrive, screaming "My BMW, my BMW, look what you did to my BMW!" The first cop on the scene says to the lawyer "BMW? Look what he did to your arm!"
Whereupon the lawyer looks to his left and starts screaming "My Rolex, my Rolex..."

During the course of my duties on the pawn shop detail I notice a female had pawned a very large amount of expensive jewelry for a very modest loan amount.
When I contacted the store and inquired about the transaction, the manager told me the woman was going on a month long cruise and had pawned the jewelry for storage.
I have since learned one of the local mechanics does the same thing when he takes an extended trip.

A mechanic who stores large amounts of jewelry? Sounds like some of the rip-off repair shops around here!

Around October a couple years ago the LGS suddenly had around 40 firearms placed on consignment. They were all very average firearms and all priced around 25% above going rate. One day in April I stopped in to the LGS and they were all gone. I asked the LGS owner if he had sold them all and he said that he hadn’t sold any but the owner had come in and picked them up. “So I take it the owner got back from Florida then?” I asked. The LGS owner thought for a second and his eyes got real wide. He started to get mad and then he laughed and said “I guess even I can get out smarted once in a while but I think you’re right.”
