Default This is one reason

I'm a middle of the road guy but this is the reason that I am so polarized (proudly) on this issue. Whatever happens, IT WON'T STOP THERE. It will be just the beginning.

The provinces of Ontario and Quebec are Canada's Kalifornia. .

Canada tried it, it didn't work, when the Conservatives regained power they scrapped it . .. In the process of scrapping it, all the lefties started weirding off and wetting their pants proclaiming doomsday and all kinds of other foolishness. . It was ridiculous listening to those fools and now Obama and his goofs are trying to go there? . . Well, there's still the 2nd Amendment and a Republican Congress to cool those socialists down.

The Feds better fire up the HAL 9000 and hope it can keep track of 300,000,000 guns, otherwise they're whistling Dixie.

BTW: Interesting to note the initial person being charged with defending himself and his home. Listen carefully ... Firearms bad; firebombs good.

I'm just guessing, but that number is a little low. How many guns do you know of that have been scrapped or parted out? Not that many for me. And the gun buybacks don't usually get too many. Some PDs are forced to destroy unclaimed firearms. But how many of the BILLIONS of firearms manufactured and imported to the US have actually been taken out of service?

What if they "collect" 300,000,000 firearms and there are still 400,000,000 in circulation?

I saw this last night, and was going to post it this morning. You beat me to it.

Things like this just make it scary us law abiding citizens. I find it unfathomable that a man defending his home is facing conviction.
