Carmex Lasts...
I wanted to post this in the Chapstick thread, but, story of
my life, I was a day late & a dollar short, because the thread
is locked. Anyways, as part of my continuing effort to provide
useless information to people that didn't even ask for it, here
goes: I've got four vials of Carmex, the oldest marked .59 cents,
the next oldest is .89 cents, then one at $1.19, and the last
with no price. Why? My Dad would say it is because of my
rampant packratism. But they are all still good, so why toss them?

My Wife is addicted to Burts Bees, I don't like that stuff.

It was at least a year & a half ago. That was the last time I
bought any. At Wally World, I believe.

How does a ChapStick thread get locked? I've often wondered myself. I use them wherever I find 'em. Car, workbench, garage, shed, a pair of pants that I haven't wore in years, junk drawer. Always fresh!

According to my Wife who is a connoisseur of all lip balms, Burts, Carmex, Chap stick, Blistex they never go bad. One, they are petroleum based and two, she uses them up so fast there is no chance to go bad!!. Just asked her and that's the facts MAM!

Wells Boys,
I'll have to take responsibility for alls that....See I thought it
was a chapstick joke thread, as a few others obviously did as well...
So, y'all know me....I launch one of my wilderness huntin'
camp stories involving, you guessed it....Chapstick.
Due to time restraints and a stern warning from the OP of
that thread I'll tell you boys about it later.....It was about
real men doing real practical jokes in a real hunting camp
forty or fifty miles from the trail head.
Anyways, in my defense, who would have thought for a
minute that a grown man couldn't tell if his lip balm taste funny or not. I ask ya?
That's kinda like askin', "How much flavor is this chewing
gum gonna lose on the bed post overnite?"
Any-hows, another time we had this chap in camp....That complained at every turn...THe coffee was too strong, the cots were too soft, the weather was too warm one day and too cold the next.
The straw that broke the camels back was when he start'd in on the stock!
The horse was too strong and stepped out too much....Wells when we returned to camp that nite,
As I, er we were un-saddling, I advised him to be really
watchful of that sorrel mule right thar..."He's proud cut and he cover a jenny in a heart beat!"
What was this thread about....Oh lip balm, yup use in all the time!
.

OK boys follow the bouncing ball
Oh-me, oh-my, oh-you
Whatever shall I do
Hallelujah, the question is peculiar
I'd give a lot of dough
If only I could know
The answer to my question
Is it yes or is it no
