Least expensive way to ship a magazine

USPS First class.

This.

I have shipped several magazines, and in the peculiar logic of the post office, the rate for parcel post and 1st class were the same in almost every case. Often the speed of delivery was the same for 1st class and priority, as well, but 1st class was almost always less (I did have one occasion where all three rates were the same...go figure.)

Priority Mail, small box, less the $5.00; safe, secure, and gets there in 2-3 days. Of course, if I was to sell a $20.00 magazine for, say, $200.00, then don't be a cheapskate and hand deliver that puppy to the poor unsuspecting soul. ;)

The priority mail box really is a good way to go. Just find some bubble plastic and wrap it good.

I was going to suggest the 3rd class periodical rate.....

USPS priority mail. Go to post office and get a free box, a little bubble wrap or crumpled up newspaper, pay the set fee for the sized box you have and forget about it. Be there in 2 or 3 days.

USPS Priority Mail cost only a little bit more than lower postage rates.

Last week I ordered a range bag on Thursday afternoon, to be shipped to me in Metro Atlanta, USPS Priority Mail.

I got the package in my mailbox, Saturday afternoon, less than 48 hours later.

For any small package 11 ounces and under, First Class is treated the same as Priority.

If you can't tell the difference, why pay the difference?

That's why they're broke

First class from my town to B'ham, AL, $5.60 for a 20 round mag and ammo. Mailed on Wednesday, delivered on Friday of this week. Tracking was included. Mailed in a recycled SWAF box with styrofoam "ghost turds" for filler.

This is not brain science or rocket surgery!
