I would PAY for an original, legitimate picture. That's priceless. :-)

I love it!
I guess when then-candidate Mr. Obama stated that we are clutching onto our guns and bibles forgot to mention potato salad and jello molds!

.
I personally know of a local church that sponsors many activities such as related in the OP.
In addition the CC classes, they have state hunter safety courses,
turkey shoots, trap shoots, archery, cook outs and camp outs for the young folks.
They call it their "On Target Ministries" and maintain their own modern range,
quite a draw to a significant number of young adults in the community.
Teaching and supporting responsible firearm ownership, they are.

Don't spend too much time in church, but I do like me some church basement suppers (especially in lutefisk season). One of the many things my stepfather taught me was how good the food can be in the church basements.
One of my motorcycle clubbies got married last week with a reception in the basement of the rural WI UCC. The bride livened up the party with a few bottles of her own cherry and blackberry wine, surprisingly dry and tasty.

My second CCW renewal course was conducted by an Episcopal minister, at the local shooting range.
