Major Dick Winters "Hang Tough"
Just found this and couldn't believe I didn't hear about it sooner. You gotta watch this!
I've been a fan of Mr Winters since the Band of Brothers. He led a quiet humble life and never gave it a second thought. This video and statue in his honor and those that stormed the beaches at Normandy is a fitting tribute.

A few officers are dangerous because they are incompetent, or because they are overly gung-ho glory seekers.
Many officers are adequate for the job.
Some are exceptional natural born leaders and earn a huge amount of respect and devotion.
I served under all three types.
I'd follow Dick Winters through the gates of Hell, believing some of us would return.
