Bolt Removal
I have a Remington M540XT 22 caliber target rifle. Does anyone know how to get the bolt out of this contraption; I don't like to clean it from the muzzle? I've pulled the trigger, and pushed it to no avail. Looked for something else to push and couldn't find it.

Thnaks, Larry; Works like a charm. Sorry I couldn't figure it out for myself. That thing is one tack driver.

Don't feel bad
I had a Savage rifle that I hadn't touched for way to many years. Though I had routinely taken it apart in the old days, when I picked it up again I couldn't figure it out and had to get someone to show me the correct combination to get the bolt out.

Sometimes you just have to hold your tongue just right.

Had it out yesterday. It shot a lot better than I thought. The atttached target was shot at 100 yards with 10 rounds of CCI Green Tab, off a rest, with the original peep sights. It will probably do a lot better, but I'm surprised that my old eyes could hold that well with irons.
