I picked these square N-frame combat stocks up on a recent revolver trade. I like them better on the model 58 shown. Anyone know any info on these? They might be pretty old if the N-3-70 marked on the inside is a date. They are also stamped "Russwood" on the inside of each, and they have a fairly distinctive "V" notch on the bottom front. Any info on maker, and possible value would be appreciated! Thanks.

I remember seeing a pair of grips some time back at a show marked Russwood and was told he was a grip maker in the Dallas area. Only pair I ever seen.

Hi:
A couple of months ago I traded a Model 657 to another forum member and the 657 had a similar pair of grips on it. The original owner said the grips were "Custom" made.

Russwood Grips were made by Russ Maloni.
His shop was located in East Aurora, New York. ,,S/E of Buffalo
In the 1970's and 80's his grips were very popular. I remember seeing them for sale at shows and in shops.

added...His Grandson posted on this forum a while back in a discussion about another handgun w/Russwood grips on it.
Said his Grandfather had closed the shop in E. Aurora and moved to Florida, but was still making pistol grips.
