OGCA Cleveland show overview...
Just got back from Cleveland and to say I was disappointed was an understatement. There was no crowd to speak of, very few quality firearms walking around. I had a table full of guns and sold none, that's a first for me.
As far as Smith&Wesson's. Model 16 was walking around $3100 very nice gun but I thought the price was a touch high. It seems all the S&W's where priced high and it didn't matter if they where pre war, post war, modern.
Another example was a M&P 4th model target. It was 99% until I looked at the barrel flat and there was a diamond stamp no seial number. Asking price was $1200, pointed out that the barrel had been replaced. The table holder side so what it's all original. I think I should to going to gun shows.....

Guess I didn't miss anything. Been a guest twice and couldn't see paying to join to attend one show for abt 50.00. I was a member yrs ago and loved it, was the only show I went to. Surprised you didn't sell nothing, usually a good show to sell at. Larry

Definitely a small crowd this time, but Medina Gun Show and Knob Creek Machine gun shoot were also taking place as well, so some dealers were at those two functions too.

Small crowd on Saturday,,can't imagine Sunday was any better.
Bought some reloading dies & stuff, ammo. A few odd parts to hopefully complete some orphan projects that have sat around.
Sold one. Tempted on a couple others but passed on them.
No need for more projects.
Had a very close call on the way down there around 4am Sat.
Long day for sure.

Saturday-"GOOD!" Sunday-"DEAD"
Saturday was very GOOD! Sunday was slower than blackstrap molasses. Maybe the people were in church which is probably where I SHOULD have been! I did enjoy seeing quite a few friends from the "old days" that I had not seen in awhile. Also got to see many of my friends from here on the Forum. Always GOOD to see you guys!
One comment I heard was that only 630 tables were rented out. I personally seriously doubt that there will be another OGCA meeting at the IX Center....Sad....very sad......Roger

All in all not so "bad" for us, did OK Saturday,NADA on Sunday and YES it was really nice to see any of you that did show up, but bottom line it was POORLY supported BOTH by table holding Members, as well as the crowd, Members and or 'guests'.........few and far between, had a NICE 1947 M&P on the table and NO _ONE looked at it, except a dealer on Friday ,during setup.......

I spoke with a director and he said they will stay with one show at the IX for the time being, but if the show garners more people, they will consider having two shows there.
