These guys were haulin' butt at just under 100mph average. Yikes!

2813 miles on 88 gallons means they got 32 MPG. That's pretty incredible (and a bit hard to believe) at 100 MPH!

Only trouble is, at the end of their trip they were in Los Angeles.

its not that hard to believe.
my 2k Buick Century got right around that at 75 - 80 average
we are only talking 20 to 25 MPH more, and probably in a better overall platform ... not everything sucks gas like trucks

On US 40....How did they like Utah and Nevada...Not much out there not many gas stations either. I drove it twice and went back to I 80Some of those grades on us 40 are bears.....plus there are some people on I 80

The operative word was additional 22 gallon TANKS, plural meaning more than one, plus the cars gas tank.
