Default One of my favorite movies...

The wife and I watched one of my favorite movies last night. I think it's one of her's now.

12 Angry Men....Henry Fonda, Jack Klugman, E.G. Marshall, Lee J. Cobb...and others I can't think of off the top of my head.

Old black and white move, set in a jury room. No fancy sets, no explosions, no pretty women. Just plain good acting, and a lot of drama.

I first became aware of it, back in elementary school...maybe Jr. High, when we read the play in class, with students reading the parts. And maybe the teacher had a recording of the play...it's been a long time. But even then it was compelling.

Great movie. If you haven't seen it, look for it.

You most likely would enjoy the HBO remake in the 1990's , with Jack Lemmon as Henry Fonda's character, and as Leo J. Cobb's character, George C. Scott. True to the original script. I think this was close to the end of Scott's life. Let me know if you can't find it, PM.

Yep. Good film. Wasn't there a TV production some point during the 1950's?

Its now a favorite of mine. Henry Fonda was top of the game at that time-as well as the rest.
