In any normal case its wrong but in that case so apropos after what Westboro has done to our fallen soldiers. Funny how its ok for them to trash and defile veteran funerals and traumatize grieving families but when it happens to them there's going to be arrests and maybe prosecutions. I would like nothing more than to see that entire Westboro group and Fred Phelps dealt cold swift justice. I would assume the satanists as a "religion" will get the same protections afforded to Westboro. In any case I'm still LMAO about the whole thing. Talk about poetic justice...

Making a case on something like this would be a big waste of time. Meridian P.D. has got a lot more important things that need to be done. If somebody doesn't like it let them sing an affidavit. Most personal affidavits are thrown out anyway. As far as Phelps is concerned, I'd really like to pee on his grave.

Meridian is a nice town gun wise. I've got a couple of honey holes up there that are occasionally somewhat productive. In the last year I've found a nice 4" 686, P-38, 1903 Springfield, and just two weeks ago a very nice Smith-Corona 1903 A3.

While my mother passed away about a year and a half ago I really wouldn't want someone doing a Pink Mass over her grave, I have to say I do not believe someone doing a Pink Mass over my mother's ashes is going to convert her to a gay woman in the afterlife. In fact, I do not believe we'll be sexual beings in the afterlife (no need if you think about it).

You know its often said a funeral is for the benefit of the living and not the dead. Much the same here... what they did here was to spit in the face of Fred Phelps and his followers. His dead mother could care less.

Just when I think I was a man of the world and had seen or heard of about everything under the sun, something like this comes along to make me think maybe I led a sheltered life after all.

I could believe something like this in San Francisco, Chicago, or even New Orleans, but in Meridian MS? I spent a lot of my youth visiting in that general area and still have relatives all over MS. Who would have thuk it? LOL

After the BS this guy has pulled at the funerals of our fallen servicemen, I say he deserves some torment like this.

I think Phelps' daughter is a lawyer and the group has been quick to sue in several other cases. There are no sympathetic people in this story.
