That ad does get your attention, so it serves it's purpose. That song is better, from the past when music was musical and not just babble with a beat.
 
I have seen it a couple of times on TV never paid much attention I didn't realize till now what they were selling.

A guy in service has a favorite drink... Southern Comfort and Dr. Pepper... yeah.. it was about like cough syrup!:D
 
It is an interesting commercial! A cowboy practicing Kung Fu(or is it Tai Chi?)at a salon while waiting for his highlighted hair to dry, & enjoying SC. I used to love that stuff! I wonder what it would taste like to me now?:cool:

A loooooong time ago, I was a musician. This one band I was with was going through some very lean times, when an advance dropped into our hands. Manna from heaven! We split it up between us, & did we go to the grocery store to buy food to eat? NO! We all loaded into the van & hit the liquor store, each of us buying his favorite bottle. I was on a Gran Marnier kick at the time & I poured myself a little snifter. The guitarist paused between sips of his Everclear, & asked me what the GM was like. I told him to get a glass & he could find out. I poured him just a little, in case he didn't like it. He sipped it & made a face & then said "I know what this needs" & poured some of his DR Pepper into the glass! He thought that was great...I was stunned!:eek:
 
Goes to show - Drink too much, act like a fool....

I laugh everytime I see this commercial. It really gets your attention. Great old song in the background. I listened to the gal and don't believe I ever heard of Imelda May. Man she can sing good. Thanks for sharing.
 
That guy on lead guitar looks a lot like Jeff Beck, a little out of his element if that's him.
 
I don't do much SC anymore. That stuff is just the most wonderful taste ing drink a man can put to his lips. Two are three ice cubes and oh boy!!!!!!! Had a great old guy used to be next door told me, here Richard try this and you'll never drink anything else. RIP Mr. Chandler.....
 
I saw a couple of those commercials. The one with the guy on the beach looks like he has liver disease and the guy under the hair dryer looks like he’s got the DTs. Are they trying to sell this stuff or warn people?
 
Almost everybody I know had a bad experience with that juice as one of their first drinking experiences and never touched it again. If I thought one day I might want to try it again....their commercials are the number one reason I wouldn't touch the stuff. Remember the fat guy in the speedo on the beach. Makes me want to puke as much as the taste of that stuff.

I never heard of her either but I agree, great voice.

The faces on the women in this video just crack me up.
