I went to a Bushnell shop the other day, just wasting time while my Wife shopped at a nearby store..
I found a good deal on a Tasco 1x40 red dot PRO Point..It has both red and green dot..
I put it on my Ruger Charger yesterday and went to the range..I zeroed the sight in for 35 yds, it took about 12 to 15 rds to shoot silver dollar sized groups..In most cases the rds were side by side..I had forgoten how much fun the Charger is and with the Butler Creek Steel Lip's 25 rd mag, you can shoot without reloading as often..
Oh yeah, I was using bulk Remington golden HP's..All functioned well..
Too bad the Charger is now discontinued, not sure why..

Thanks for the report. I was considering buying one myself since I already have plenty of 10/22 mags. I didn't know it was discontinued though, I might have to go to my local gun shop this week and see if they still have one in stock.

When I bought the Charger it came with a 4 x scope...
Problem is it is a rifle scope, so you have to be close to the scope for eye relief..Uncomfortable at best, unuseable, at least for me..Thus the reason for putting it in the safe and forgetting about it..
The red dot mentioned works great for arm length shooting using the bibod..
