Another Military Movie
We've had a string of inquiries about them so here's my contribution. An anti war movie called None But The Brave. I saw it not long after I was discharged and it made an impression on me for basically one reason. Tommy Sands!
He was the near twin to my basic training XO. His looks, his swaggering and above all, his manner of speaking, especially to enlisted. I wonder if OTS trained them to speak like that?
It's been a long time since I've seen it but seem to remember
it was pretty good. Basically stranded groups of Japanese and American soldiers waiting to be rescued from the island they are on. They decide to hold a truce until rescue comes, then........you need to see the movie.

I love that movie--and just for you Ron--my one image from the movie so far--a double-autographed photo from the movie signed by both Brad Dexter and Clint Walker:
Even though I found my image by google--this one is the exact one I own I didnt feel like going to my photo bucket acct to search for it--too lazy.

Nay, please look at my poster I posted above for the title of the movie I posted the bayonet image from. You DID (without saying) get something correct--both movies were Directed by Sam Fuller and also starred Gene Evans.
Correct war btw.
