I enjoy the YT vids from both these guys. They have different styles. Nutn is more political, Hickok more folksy. But they both are knowledgeable about firearms and the shooting sports. Any other Youtubers who do a good job on gun topics?

Hickok45 is very good. I think he's a school teacher.

Nut likes to hear himself talk... a LOT, and can a be bit goofy. But he's pretty thorough and whenever I've watched a vid I've picked up something or considered something that I might not have otherwise.

Both are good in thier own way.... But Hickok45 is the best.

I like Hickok, but his constant cycling of the action of the gun he's holding drives me nuts!

I wish Mas Ayyoob made some updated videos. :(

But yeah, Hickok45 has a very genuine style that I find very easy to watch.

And holy cow can he shoot. How far is that dang gong anyways?

Yankee Marshall seems good, though I tend to just watch his humor videos. I like Hickok45 but he usually doesn't shoot the kind of firearms I like. I can't say much about Nutnfancy's handgun videos, but I did watch one of his rifle videos and I am pretty sure my IQ dropped.

I also prefer Hickock45, only thing i dont like is that he is biased in his comparison videos.

I watch both, but if I had to pick I'd prefer Hickock.
Nutin' can get obsessed with how many ounces a gun will weigh. I suppose if you're "runnin' & gunnin'" (:))it really matters.

......and that's the main difference......I could never enjoy shooting by putting all that tactical stuff all over me .........magazines/knives/ropes/flashlights & god knows what else.......and then go running around in dry desert ditches.

Too much work. WAY too much work. Shooting is supposed to be relaxing.....ala' Hickock.

I think he once stated that the farthest gong was measured off at 200 yards........roughly measured off......that is. I'd say it looks a good 150 at LEAST.

.....and not to take anything away from him....but he can shoot that good because he is able to step out into the back yard and pop-off some rounds any time he feels like it.
My cousin has a "backyard" range not too much unlike Hickoks. Picnic table......steel-ringers.....bowling pins, etc.
Know what? My cousin can out-shoot anyone else I personally know, because he shoots EVERY single weekend.

"fps russia" has some entertaining videos.

Entertaining I suppose but generally not very educational or helpful. He mostly makes novelty videos that appeal to fans of video games and action movies, with very little substance IMO. I just don't dig him at all.

Now Hickok45 and Nutnfancy, those are some channels I could watch all day! They are both different for sure.

Who CAN'T love a good Hickok45 video? That gentleman is such a blessing to the firearms community and if you are new to firearms you will learn something in each and every video he has (mostly). His gun reviews are pretty thorough for the most part and he does a good job explaining how he likes/dislikes the gun and you always get to see some good live fire at his awesome backyard shooting range. His cadence and quirks, and general warmness makes it feel like I've known Hickok45 for years and it's like spending time with an old friend. He truly is very charismatic and his videos are just a joy to watch.

Nutnfancy is probably the A #1 gun and gear review channel ANYWHERE on the internet. He generally sticks to reviewing more "defensive" type firearms that are usually fairly modern, including many brand new firearms. No more intensive or HONEST reviews of these guns will be found on the internet. He will do research, live fire run-and-guns in the desert, and expend sometime THOUSANDS of rounds through a gun before giving one of his LONG (which is a good thing, i.e. detailed) and completely candid reviews. I don't think most people understand how incredibly expensive and time consuming that can be. In terms of his reviews, there is simply no comparison to any other entity on the web. Again, JMHO. Nutnfancy is also very outspoken when it comes to gun rights and things like disaster preparedness.

If I had to pick between the two... it would be BOTH.

I really enjoy watching Hickok videos. One thing that I appreciate is that he has "something for everyone." Even though he is a(self admitted) Glock fanboy, he also has plenty of S&W and Colt videos, as well as on just about any other type of gun you can image.

He makes a lot of the larger gun shows around here(including the Louisville National Gun Day and Knob Creek). I've found him to be very friendly and personable in person, much as he comes across in his videos.

Hickok45 is like Phil Robertson on duck dynasty. There laid back country boys. I like h45's chuckle as he shoots he's accurate like my mentor was my older brother.
