I did, and am glad I stuck with it after a rocky start. Its a Showtime series - a retelling and combination of some classic monster stories: Frankenstein, Dracula, The Portrait of Dorian Gray and (spoiler alert) The Wolfman.
I'm a sucker for the "fearless band of vampire hunters" genre, so this one sucked me in.
One of the characters is Josh Hartnett as a Wild West Show sharpshooter adrift in London. He packs a pair of SAAs that he puts to good use.
In the final episode, one of the main characters gets the latest in weaponry - a Mauser broomhandle.
I'm sure some here would not find it palatable - there is at one out-of-nowhere "Brokeback" moment, but all in all I like it and am looking forward to next season.
